Lahore: Pakistani superstar Fawad Khan has said that Pakistani cinema has achieved great things with its limited resources.
In an interview to a foreign broadcaster, the actor said that Pakistani cinema should not be compared with world cinema as our resources and opportunities are very few.
He said that you cannot compare a film with a budget of 15 to 20 crores with a film with a budget of 4500 million dollars, even in our neighbor India, 300 or 400 million dollars. Hundred crore budget films are made.
Fawad Khan said that the film industry goes ahead when people are earning something, when people get good returns then they also invest.
The actor said that the situation in Pakistani cinema is good now, people are getting good returns and if this circle continues, then our film industry will also be on the path of development.
He said that our artists should work in foreign projects but if we want to make our identity in the world, then we have to show our projects to the world and that will make us known all over the world.
Fawad Khan said that we should focus on quality rather than quantity, digital streaming platforms can be a great tool to take our cinema forward.
