Fawad terms May 9 events shameful calls for inquiry

Islamabad: The Senior Vice President of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) Fawad Chaudhary has condemned the incidents that happened on May 9 and said that if the army is Pakistan and we are, the people involved in these shameful incidents should be punished.

In a press conference with his wife and lawyers outside the Islamabad High Court, Fawad Chaudhry said that every patriotic person is saddened by the events that happened in Lahore Corps Command House and GHQ, attacks on military and government facilities are shameful. .

Fawad Chaudhry said that these incidents should be investigated and whoever is involved in them should be punished, even if he is related to PTI.

He said that as the spokesperson of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf, I say that if there is Pakistan Army, then there is Pakistan and if there is Pakistan, then we all are, I understand that the events of May 9 were shameful.

Fawad Chaudhry further said that I belong to Jhelum, which is the land of martyrs and ghazis. We don’t have any cemetery where martyrs and veterans are not buried, our relationship with the army comes before everything.

Later, Fawad Chaudhry left for home from Islamabad High Court. The PTI leader was present in the court since morning where the police also tried to arrest him.
