Federal Govt approves 6 development projects worth of 227bn

Islamabad: The federal government has approved development projects worth 227 billion. The plans were approved in the Central Development Working Party meeting.

According to Leading News, 6 development projects worth 227 billion rupees were approved in the Central Development Working Party (CDWP) meeting chaired by Federal Minister for Planning Ahsan Iqbal.

The National Oilseed Enchantment Program worth Rs 10.96 billion was approved in the meeting. While the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa rural investment and institutional support project worth 110.7 billion rupees was also approved.

CDWP also approved the expansion plan of Mangala Dam Project which will cost Rs 96 billion.

Plans for setting up schools in different districts of Balochistan and three sewage treatment plants worth Rs 6.07 billion and associated sewage systems to treat sewage falling into Rawal Lake were also approved.
