Finance Minister announces 5-rupee cut in petrol price

Islamabad: The government has announced a reduction of five rupees in the price of petrol for the next fifteen days.

Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar said in a news conference that the price of diesel will remain the same while the price of kerosene has been reduced by Rs 15.

Ishaq Dar said on the social networking site that the price of light diesel has been reduced by Rs 12.

After the recent decrease, the price of petrol per liter will be Rs 267, the price of light diesel will be Rs184 and 68 paisa and the price of kerosene will decrease by Rs 15 to Rs.187 and 73 paisa. Similarly, the price of diesel remains at Rs 280.
