ABU DHABI: Minister for Finance and Revenue Senator Ishaq Dar called on HE Syed Basar Shueb, Chief Executive Officer, Executive Director and Managing Director of International Holding Company (IHC).
The finance minister briefed the IHC CEO regarding the recent visit of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to the United Arab Emirates and his various meetings held with the Emirati businessmen and investors.
He thanked the management of the IHC for their interest in making investments in Pakistan and discussed ways to accelerate the economic cooperation between the two countries. Dar expressed the desire to strengthen the existing economic ties with UAE to a next level.
The finance minister stated that Pakistan would welcome investment from the UAE and explained various investment opportunities in Pakistan. He added that the Government of Pakistan is pursuing various reforms for providing greater facilitation to investors and businessmen.
Welcoming Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, HE Syed Basar Shueb highlighted the cordial relation that exists between the two countries and appreciated the role of the government to attract investment opportunities in Pakistan.
The finance minister assured the CEO of maximum facilitation by the Government of Pakistan for Emirati investors in Pakistan.
