FIR of attack on Imran Khan lodged in PS City Wazirabad

Rawalpindi: A case of a murderous attack on Chairman PTI Imran Khan has been registered in Wazirabad after the order of the Supreme Court.

According to police sources, other provisions including murder, attempted murder, and terrorism have been added in the case, while the case was registered in Wazirabad city police station.

According to the sources, Naveed, who was arrested in the case, was named as the formal accused while the FIR of the murder attack was sealed and the FIR will be presented in the Supreme Court on November 8.

According to police sources, the FIR will be made public after it is submitted to the Supreme Court, after the registration of the case, the main accused Naveed will be formally arrested.

It should be noted that the accused Naveed is currently in the custody of CTD in a cell of Lahore Chong, the incident of firing on Imran Khan happened during the long march on Thursday. The case of the incident has been registered after four days on the orders of the Supreme Court.

Protests by PTI workers in Twin Cities and Lahore

Earlier, major highways from Rawalpindi to Islamabad were blocked due to PTI protests, which also suspended ambulance services between the twin cities, while protests were also held outside the Governor’s House in Lahore.
