FIR of ‘missing’ former PM’s principal secretary registered

Islamabad: The Islamabad police registered on Friday a complaint of former prime minister’s principal secretary Azam Khan, who has gone missing according to his family, on charges of abduction or kidnapping.

According to the spokesman of Islamabad Police, a case of disappearance of senior officer Azam Khan has been registered under Section 365 of the Criminal Code of Abduction in Kohsar police station on the complaint of his nephew.

The request has been made by Azam Khan’s nephew in which it is said that Azam Khan has not returned since he left home yesterday evening, Azam Khan’s mobile number is also switched off, he should be traced.

The police say that after the case was registered, an investigation is being conducted regarding the disappearance of Azam Khan.
