Islamabad: A case has been registered against the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on charges of inciting rebellion against the government and state institutions through the social media platform X (formerly Twitter).
According to sources, the FIR was lodged on September 13. Following this, a four-member team from the Cybercrime Wing arrived at Adiala Jail today at 7:45 PM to conduct questioning. The PTI founder was summoned through the Deputy Superintendent for the investigation, but he refused to participate, citing a need for consultation with his legal team.

Sources further revealed that the Cybercrime team will return to Adiala Jail on Saturday morning to continue the investigation. The team aims to question the PTI founder regarding the rebellious posts and identify any associates involved in disseminating the messages.
