“Complying with the orders of the Supreme Court of Pakistan, a detailed court of inquiry was undertaken by the Pakistan Army to ascertain the validity of complaints made against Lieutenant Gen Faiz Hameed (Retd) in the Top City Case. Consequently, appropriate disciplinary action has been initiated against him under the provisions of the Pakistan Army Act,” read an ISPR press release.

This high-profile case has garnered widespread attention, underscoring the ongoing scrutiny of high-ranking officials in Pakistan’s military establishment. The court-martial process will determine the extent of General Hameed’s involvement and any potential violations of military law, setting a precedent for accountability at the highest levels.
