Former national champion boxer Dur Muhammad passes away in Karachi

Karachi: Former international boxer and former national champion Dur Muhammad Baloch passed away at the age of 40.

Dur Muhammad Baloch, a former international boxer who represented the KPT and Pakistan Navy, was a resident of Lyari and associated with the Merchant Navy.

He suffered a heart attack on board the ship in an African port which proved fatal, the deceased is survived by a widow and three children.

Dur Muhammad Baloch was the nephew of Asghar Baloch, Vice President of Pakistan Boxing Federation and Secretary of Sindh Boxing Association.

His father, Olympian Malang Baloch, also died seven months ago.
