Four soldiers martyred, 9 terrorists killed in Mach & Kolpur attacks

In a courageous response to a coordinated terrorist attack on Mach & Kolpur complexes in Balochistan, four brave soldiers from law enforcement agencies laid down their lives, eliminating nine insurgents, including three suicide bombers, and injuring three others. The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) confirmed the events on Tuesday, detailing the successful counter-operation that took place on the night of January 29 and 30.

The assailants, comprising several terrorists, including suicide bombers, targeted Mach & Kolpur complexes in Balochistan, triggering a swift and effective response from the law enforcement agencies (LEAs). The martyred LEA personnel, displaying remarkable valor, embraced Shahadat (martyrdom) along with two innocent civilians during the intense exchange of fire.

Immediately upon the attack, security forces in the vicinity were mobilized to conduct an ongoing operation against the terrorists. The ISPR praised the law enforcement agencies for their effective response, describing it as a testament to their unrelenting resolve in the fight against terrorism. The statement emphasized that Pakistan’s security forces stand shoulder to shoulder with other law enforcement agencies to ensure peace and stability in the country.

As the nation mourns the loss of these valiant soldiers and innocent civilians, the sacrifice made in the line of duty is a poignant reminder of the challenges faced by those safeguarding the nation. The ongoing efforts of security forces underscore the collective commitment to eradicate terrorism and maintain the security and well-being of the people of Balochistan and Pakistan at large.
