Lahore: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan said that fugitives who have never worked on merit in their lives are sitting in London and deciding the appointment of the Army Chief.
Addressing the participants of the long march in Kharian through a video link from Lahore, he said that there were four long marches during my government, were they undemocratic? They made a long march to take NRO. He said that people are saying that the march is going slowly, after the attack on me, the march had to be slow.
Imran Khan said that Nawaz Sharif is harming the country to save his profit and stolen money, he has never done any work on merit in his life and now this fugitive is sitting in London and deciding the army chief.
The PTI Chairman said that he is afraid of adding names to ECL, but despite my offer, he does not add names to ECL, the reason being that his money, shopping treatment are all abroad. It happens while my everything is in Pakistan.
On the performance of the government, Imran Khan said that in 7 months all the industries were closed, every Pakistani is worried, the current government took more debt in three months than we took in 9 months.
Imran Khan said that the purpose of the long march is to wake up the nation, if we do not teach the youth how to protest in a constitutional way, then this country will become Sri Lanka. Anger has been carrying on like this for the past seven months and they are now protesting peacefully.
Responding to the government’s accusation of isolating Pakistan at the international level, the PTI Chairman said, “They have not benefited Pakistan at the international level in 7 months. I was invited twice to visit England while My children were also there, but my country did not benefit, so the offer was rejected.
He further said that ‘I did not want a fight with anyone but an independent foreign policy, a policy which is in the interest of Pakistan and Pakistanis, we want a foreign policy with India from America’.
