GDRFA Dubai Celebrates International Workers’ Day

Dubai: In celebration of International Workers’ Day and as part of the “Year of Community” initiatives, the General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs – Dubai (GDRFA Dubai) organized a series of field events across the Emirate, honoring the contributions of the workforce in various companies and key locations.

The International Workers’ Day event drew wide participation from workers representing diverse nationalities and cultures, reflecting GDRFA Dubai’s commitment to values of tolerance, respect, and coexistence. The activities aimed to foster a deeper sense of community engagement and inclusivity, aligned with the organization’s people-centric vision.

Acting on the directives of His Excellency Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director General of GDRFA Dubai, dedicated teams visited workplaces to directly interact with employees and mark the occasion with gestures of appreciation. Additionally, a special Workers’ Day message was sent to employees via text, acknowledging their dedication and essential contributions.

His Excellency Lt. Gen. Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri remarked that GDRFA Dubai deeply values every individual’s efforts and reiterated that the initiative builds on previous successful outreach programs which engaged thousands of workers. He emphasized that recognizing and celebrating workers is an important part of the directorate’s ongoing mission to uphold human dignity and strengthen social bonds.
