DUBAI: The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) Dubai opened its participation at the Dubai Airshow 2025 on Monday, attracting significant attention from visitors exploring the authority’s expanding ecosystem of digital and smart services at Dubai World Central.
The inaugural day was attended by Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director General of GDRFA Dubai, along with Major General Obaid Mehayer Bin Suroor, Deputy Director General, and Major General Talal Ahmed Al Shinqiti, Assistant Director General for the Airports Sector. The leadership reviewed a wide portfolio of digital initiatives and platforms showcased at the stand.

Among the key services highlighted were the Golden Visa, the Command and Control Platform, the Salama Digital Platform, Platform 04, the GCC Resident Visa, the Smart Corridor (Red Carpet), and the Tourist Happiness Card.
Lieutenant General Al Marri said GDRFA’s presence at the Airshow reflects its vision to provide seamless, innovative and future-ready services for travellers and residents. “We are committed to ensuring our services align with Dubai’s aspirations and strategies, and to delivering an experience that reflects Dubai’s value as a global city that places innovation at the core of government development,” he stated.
