Gen Bajwa Should Be Given Extension Till Election Former Prime Minister Imran Khan on Monday while raising a question on the appointment of new army chief by those with just 85 seats said that Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa should be given extension until the new government is elected.In his exclusive interview with private TV Channel programme , the former PM said that they still have the option of dissolving the provincial assemblies, and they also have a few ideas and will push the federal government staying within the constitution.

Imran Khan has submitted his written reply to the election commission in the contempt case.
The ex-PM submitted the reply through Barrister Gauhar and Faisal Chaudhary Advocate, challenging the commission’s jurisdiction and notice in the contempt commission case, Gen Bajwa Should Be Given Extension Till Election
The commission notice is against the constitution, the reply stated, adding that Imran Khan did not insult the commission
“The Election Commission does not have the authority to hear defamation cases. The election commission secretary is not authorized to send notice so it should be withdrawn,” it added
