Rawalpindi: General Sahir Shamshad Mirza assumed the post of Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, a solemn ceremony was held at the Joint Staff Headquarters Rawalpindi.
According to the announcement issued by the Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army (ISPR), in addition to the serving and retired officers of the three forces, the former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee also participated in the ceremony.

On arrival at the venue, the Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee was saluted by the Joint Services Guard. General Sahir Shamshad Mirza also inspected the guard of honor and march past.
