Lahore: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Shehbaz Gill has claimed that general elections will be announced in the next few days.
During the inconclusive unofficial results of the by-elections, Shahbaz Gill tweeted on the social networking site and said, “After today’s results, the country is moving towards general elections.”
He said that the nation should get ready, inshallah the general elections are going to be announced in the next few days.
Shahbaz Gill said that the entire nation has one voice that slavery is not acceptable in any way, the people of Pakistan want to make their own decisions and the people have given their decision.
On the other hand, senior leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf Fawad Chaudhry said in his tweet that “Alhamdulillah the nation has once again proved Imran Khan as the pivot of its hopes, Imran Khan has clear superiority in all the seats”.
He said that “I ask the government and the establishment to respect the wishes of the people and immediately announce new elections in the country. They are ready to discuss the framework of the elections with the government.”
