Imran Khan directed the party leaders to prepare for the election and gave an indication to dissolve the assemblies in the same month.
Imran Khan discussed the political situation and the dissolution of the assemblies while talking to the assembly members at Zaman Park in Lahore.
The members expressed apprehension that the government may postpone the general elections on the dissolution of the assemblies. Imran Khan replied that the government has no other option other than immediate elections.
Imran Khan said that the Election Commission is trying to disqualify me, the members should hold elections and run the Malik Bachao Tehreek and go to their constituencies and inform the people about the government’s incompetence.
Chairman PTI said that he has complete confidence in Pervaiz Elahi’s cooperation, and he has assured that he will dissolve the assemblies when the order is given.
On the other hand, speaking to the media after the meeting, Fawad Chaudhry said that the nation has seen the non-political role of the institutions in Pakistan, the establishment should return to its constitutional role and the government should announce the date of immediate elections.
He said that the Provincial Assemblies will be dissolved in December itself, there is concern about the performance of the Election Commission because the cases we have filed are not being heard, the courts should make independent decisions which we do not see, the role of Imran Khan. It is very important to acknowledge’.
