WhatsApp is soon going to introduce a new feature that will allow users to lock and hide their private chats.
According to reports, the chat lock option will remove chats from WhatsApp’s on-screen inbox and place them in a new folder that can only be opened with a password or biometric.
ChatLock will protect your most private chats and also hide notifications related to them, WhatsApp’s parent company Meta called it a new innovation in security.
This feature gives WhatsApp users options to encrypt their backup, block screenshot and hide chats. Meta Chief Executive Officer Mark Zuckerberg confirmed the new feature in a Facebook post.
