government increases price of LPG

Islamabad: The federal government has increased the price of liquid petroleum gas (LPG).

The domestic cylinder of LPG has been increased by 26 rupees 62 paisa while the price of 11.8 kg domestic cylinder of LPG has been increased to 3141 rupees 29 paisa.

In this regard, according to the notification issued by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA), the price of LPG per kg has been increased by  2 Rupees 26 paise to 266 Rupees 21 paisa.
The increase in LPG price was due to the rise in GST rate from 17 to 18 percent. The increase notification has been issued.
