Islamabad: The Pakistani government unanimously passed a resolution against the Judiciary on Tuesday.
The resolution was introduced by Minister for Information and Broadcasting Maryam Aurangzeb, rejects the Judiciary’s interference in the legislative process.
The resolution further demands that all elections of the assemblies be held simultaneously, and that the decision of the House was supported by a 4/3 ratio in case related to elections.
The text of the resolution also states that the judiciary should not interfere in the election commission and that all cases related to the election should be heard by the full court.
