Islamabad: The federal government has withdrawn the plea from the Supreme Court rejecting the bail of PTI leader Shehbaz Gill.
Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Umar Atta Bandyal held an in-chamber hearing on Shahbaz Gill’s bail application. Advocate Rizwan Abbasi appeared in the chamber on behalf of the federal government and requested to withdraw the application.
The lawyer said that Shahbaz Gill has repeated his crime on which a new case has also been registered against him and now an application will be made in the relevant forum for canceling his bail.
The Supreme Court accepted the plea to withdraw Shahbaz Gill’s bail cancellation request.
It should be noted that the Islamabad court has released PTI leader Shehbaz Gill on bail in the case of inciting the institutions to revolt.
