Governor Tessori Dissolves Sindh Assembly

Karachi: On the advice of Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, Governor Sindh Kamran Tessori dissolved the Provincial Assembly.

On the recommendation of the Chief Minister, Sindh Governor signed the summary of dissolution of the Provincial Assembly under Article 112 Clause No. 1 of the Constitution.

After Kamran Tessori’s signature, the Law Department also issued an official notification of the dissolution of the assembly, after which the 50-member Sindh cabinet was dissolved while the ministers, advisers and special assistants were dismissed.

In the Sindh Cabinet, 18 ministers, five advisers and more than 25 assistants were performing special government affairs.

Earlier, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah had signed the advice to the Governor of Sindh to dissolve the Assembly under Article 112 (1) of the Constitution of Pakistan and he reached the Governor House with the advice.

Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori welcomed the Chief Minister at the Governor House and later signed the advice to dissolve the Provincial Assembly.
