Govt contacts Zardari on threat of MQM to leave alliance

Karachi: After Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Pakistan threatened to terminate the alliance with the federal government, the leader of Muslim League-N contacted the federal minister Aminul Haq and the federal representatives contacted Asif Zardari to implement the agreement. Talked about.

According to the sources, the two leaders discussed important issues in the telephonic conversation while the concerns of MQM were also discussed. The PML-N leader once again assured the MQM to remove the reservations arising from the agreement.

According to sources, PML-N leader Ayaz Sadiq will meet the leaders of MQM Pakistan on Monday, in which the possibility of progress is being shown on the written agreement made by the government.

According to the sources, the delegation of the coalition parties of the federal government will arrive in Karachi on Monday, which will include PML-N’s Ayaz Sadiq, Khawaja Saad Rafiq and other leaders. will and will discuss the constituencies of the MQM and the concerns of the Sindh government and the People’s Party.

Sources of the government alliance say that a meeting is expected in Bilawal House Karachi on Monday, January 2 regarding local elections and constituencies, in which PML-N, MQM and PPP leaders will participate. In the meeting, MQM will put forward its legal position on constituencies and reservations on relations with the People’s Party.

Meanwhile, the coordination committee has convened an important meeting of all local body candidates and regional officials on Tuesday, in which after consultation with local body candidates and party workers, they will discuss whether to continue the alliance with the government or break away.

Transparent elections are being held on January 15 and we have held dozens of meetings with the leaders of the People’s Party during 8 months in which they have asked that the constituencies of Karachi and Hyderabad be changed immediately.

He hinted that if the constituencies are not corrected, then we will go to the workers and the people and come to the streets and also think whether to contest elections while in government or leave the alliance.
