Govt. decision to maintain prices of petroleum products

Islamabad: The government has decided to maintain the prices of petroleum products.

He said that the current prices of petrol, diesel, light diesel and kerosene will remain. The finance minister said that the price of petrol will remain at 224 rupees 80 paise, the price of diesel per liter will remain at 235 rupees 30 paise.

According to the Federal Minister, the price of kerosene oil will remain at 191 rupees 83 paisa per liter and the price of light diesel oil will remain at 186 rupees 50 paisa per liter. It should be noted that the price of petrol in the country is Rs 224 80 paise, on which the government is getting a petroleum levy of Rs 32.42.

Apart from this, the price of diesel is Rs 235.30 on which petroleum levy is Rs 12.58 and the price of kerosene is Rs 191.83 on which petroleum levy is Rs 15. The price of light diesel is at the level of Rs 186.50 and petrol levy is being levied at Rs 10.

Extension of last date for submission of tax returns

Finance Minister Ishaq Dar said that the date of submission of income tax returns has also been extended by one month. It has been announced to give discount in LC stuck for three months and to clear LCs worth up to one hundred thousand dollars from November 1.

He said that earlier LCs up to 50 thousand dollars were allowed to be cleared, with this decision, 1350 more LCs will be cleared immediately. The finance minister said that first 4350 LCs have been cleared while in total more than 8 thousand LCs were pending.
