Govt jacks up fuel prices by Rs.20

Islamabad: The government has increased the prices of petroleum products by Rs 20 per litre.

The Ministry of Finance has issued a notification to increase the prices of petroleum products for the next fifteen days, according to which the price of petrol has been increased by Rs 17.50 per liter and the price of high speed diesel has been increased by Rs 20 per liter.

According to the notification, the price of petrol per liter increased by 17 rupees to 290 rupees 45 paise, while the price of high speed diesel reached 293 rupees 40 paise after an increase of 20 rupees.
According to the notification, the new prices will be applicable from 12:00 PM on August 16 to August 31, 2023.
