Govt Reduces Price of Petrol by Rs. 8 Per Liter

Islamabad: The government has announced a reduction in the price of petrol by Rs 8 per liter for the next fifteen days.

Finance Minister Ishaq Dar said in a press conference that there has been no change in the price of petrol at the global level and neither has the value of the rupee improved, but efforts have been made to give relief to the people.

He said that the price of diesel has been reduced by Rs.5, petrol by Rs.8 per liter and the price of light diesel by Rs.5 per liter while the price of kerosene has not been changed.

After the recent reduction, diesel will be reduced by Rs 5 to Rs 253, petrol price will be Rs 262 per litre, light diesel price will remain at Rs 147 68 paise and kerosene will remain at Rs 164.07.
