Hyundai unveils Stargazer: A futuristic family MPV for UAE market

DUBAI: Juma Al Majid Company LLC, the exclusive distributor for Hyundai in the region, has ushered in the arrival of the Stargazer – its latest multipurpose family MPV model in the UAE market.

Positioned as the ideal family companion for transportation, travel, and entertainment, this new car boasts a streamlined design that embodies the future.

Specifically tailored to resonate with families who embrace forward-thinking concepts, the Stargazer features a spacious and practical cabin, ensuring utmost comfort for all family members. Additionally, it incorporates advanced safety technologies and innovative features, setting a new standard among vehicles in its class.

Suliman Al Zaben, director of Hyundai UAE, said: “Hyundai’s mobility philosophy revolves around enhancing people’s experiences and making every moment innovative and enjoyable. This ethos is evident in the new Stargazer, meticulously designed to be unique in every detail. With its spacious design catering to family needs, its high safety specifications and integrated futuristic technology, the Stargazer epitomises our dedication to customer satisfaction.”

The Stargazer’s exterior design embodies the elegant “one box” concept, featuring a curve that optimises cabin height. The curvature of the car’s roof enhances interior space, ensuring comfort during family trips. Adding to its visual appeal, the front is adorned with horizontal daytime running lights (DRL), a signature of Hyundai’s modern design language. The rear lighting lamps, distinguished by their H-shaped design symbolise balance and harmony, reflecting Hyundai’s innovative blend of technology and emotional values.

Internally, the Stargazer offers a spacious cabin designed to cater to families, with flexible seating arrangements for up to seven passengers. The interior displays 30 multi-functional storage spaces, seamlessly integrated into the dashboard, centre console, seats, and door trims. Notable features include storage areas under the front air vents, adjustable cup holders, seatback tables, and pockets for snacks and documents; a luggage panel enhances trunk organisation.

The cockpit features a long and slim dashboard, providing a wider frontal area and a sense of added safety for passengers. The Stargazer showcases an intuitive interface featuring a 4.2-inch TFT-LCD screen that displays various vehicle information synchronised with the car’s driving modes. Moreover, it boasts an 8-inch touchscreen compatible with Apple Car Play and Android Auto, along with two phone device holders and six chargers, including a wireless power charger.

Under the hood, the Stargazer is equipped with a 1.5-litre Smartstream engine paired with an Intelligent Variable Transmission (IVT) system, delivering strong performance and efficiency. With a maximum power output of 115 horsepower and torque of 144 Newton metres, the Stargazer offers four driving modes: Comfort, Eco, Sport, and Smart, allowing drivers to select the most suitable driving experience.

The Hyundai Stargazer is now available in showrooms across the UAE.
