Dubai: India clinched a commanding victory over Pakistan in the ICC Champions Trophy match on Sunday at Dubai Cricket Stadium, UAE. This impressive win places India at the top of the points table with four points.
India’s next challenge will be against New Zealand at the same venue on Sunday, March 2.
Meanwhile, Pakistan will be looking for their first points when they take on Bangladesh on Thursday, February 27, at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, Pakistan.
The next Group A match is scheduled for Monday, February 24, between New Zealand and Bangladesh in Rawalpindi.
According to the ICC Champions Trophy tournament format, the top two teams from each group will qualify for the semi-finals. The winners of the semi-finals will meet in the final at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore, on March 9. However, if India qualifies for the final, it will be played in Dubai instead.
