IHC rejects PTI Chairman’s bail plea in cipher case

Islamabad: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) issued a mixed verdict regarding the bail plea of Chairman PTI in the cipher case.

According to details, IHC Chief Justice Aamir Farooq announced the reserve verdict on the bail plea of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman in the cipher case. The court dismissed a petition seeking expelling the case against PTI Chairman.

Adding to the legal woes of the PTI chairman, the Official Secrets Act court also delivered a blow by rejecting the bail plea.

The cipher case has been a contentious issue, and these recent court rulings will undoubtedly have far-reaching consequences in the political landscape of Pakistan.
