Islamabad: Islamabad High Court has issued a detailed decision to suspend the arrest warrant of Imran Khan in the Tosha Khana criminal proceedings case, in which he has been directed to ensure his appearance on March 13 and it has been written that to fulfill the requirement of justice, the applicant has been given another chance.
The order of non-bailable arrest warrant issued by former Prime Minister Imran Khan was challenged in the Islamabad High Court, which was heard by Chief Justice Amir Farooq. In the High Court, Imran Khan filed a petition through lawyer Ali Bukhari, challenging the order of Additional Sessions Judge Zafar Iqbal.
A 10-page detailed decision was issued to suspend the warrant of Imran Khan, which was written by the Chief Justice of the Islamabad High Court.
The verdict states that Imran Khan’s counsel has not shown anything illegal in the trial court’s order. Just fulfilling the demand of justice, Imran Khan has been given a chance so that Imran Khan can appear in court without facing the threat of arrest.
It has been written in the court decision that the issue of security concerns is irrelevant, everyone is at risk in the wave of terrorism, the system cannot be stopped due to security threats.
In the written decision, it is said that if Imran Khan does not appear on March 13, the suspension of the warrants will end.
