Islamabad: In a recent development, an Islamabad district and sessions court has granted bail to human rights activist Imaan Mazari while sending Pashtun Tahaffuz Movement leader and former MNA Ali Wazir to jail on a 14-day judicial remand. The court’s decision came after a case was registered against both individuals for allegedly causing damage to public property and interference in state affairs.
As per the verdict, Imaan Mazari has been granted bail against a surety bond of Rs30,000, while Ali Wazir has been sent to judicial custody for 14 days in Adiala jail.
