Islamabad: The review mission of the International Monetary Fund has sought time to review the Memorandum of Economics and Fiscal Policy (MFFP) submitted by Pakistan, due to which Pakistan and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) ) virtual negotiations for the ninth review between the two sides were postponed for a day.
Sources in the finance ministry said the virtual talks have been postponed at the request of the IMF review mission, which has asked for time to review the MEFP.
