Imran asks court to stop cipher scandal inquiry

ISLAMABAD: Chairman PTI Imran Khan has approached the Lahore High Court to declare the inquiry into the Cipher Audio Leak scandal as illegal.

According to Leading  News, former Prime Minister Imran Khan approached the Lahore High Court in the matter of cyber audio leak. On behalf of Imran Khan, his lawyer has made the FIA, federal government and the investigating officer a party and has taken a stand that Imran Khan is the former Prime Minister of the country and a prominent personality, propaganda was made against Imran Khan.

The position was taken that Imran Khan is an honest, honorable citizen and a prominent personality of the country, Imran Khan has an important role in bringing the country’s politics into a new direction, Imran Khan’s growing popularity has become a threat against political powers. As Prime Minister, Imran Khan played a successful role in getting America out of Afghanistan.

It was stated that FIA has started an inquiry on the issue of cipher message, FIA has called on December 6 to close the statement on the issue of cipher. The cypher inquiry has already been challenged in the Supreme Court.

In the petition, it was said that Imran Khan was summoned in a baseless inquiry to target political revenge, the murderous attack on Imran Khan in Wazirabad is also an example of the same political revenge, no law was followed in the summoning notice. The inquiry into the Cipher Audio leak scandal should be quashed as illegal, the inquiry into the Cipher Audio leak scandal should be stayed till the final decision of the petition.
