Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan has declared the party’s upcoming Minar-i-Pakistan Jalsa in Lahore, scheduled for September 21, as a “Do or Die” moment for the party. Speaking to journalists at Adiala Jail on Thursday, Khan emphasized the significance of the rally, asserting that it would be a pivotal event for PTI.
Khan, who has been incarcerated for 15 months, reaffirmed his commitment to peaceful political activism, stating that he has urged his party to remain within the bounds of the Constitution, which grants them the right to hold rallies. He also issued a warning, saying that if authorities attempt to block the rally, PTI supporters are prepared to “fill the jails” in protest.
“I’ve been in jail for 15 months and am prepared to stay longer if necessary,” Khan said, urging his party workers and the public not to fear imprisonment. He called on PTI supporters to stand firm in the face of any potential crackdown, emphasizing the rally’s importance for the party’s future.
