Lahore: Chairman PTI Imran Khan has challenged FIA’s summons in the prohibited funding case in the Lahore High Court.
According to sources, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has summoned Imran Khan for investigation in the prohibited funding case. In the notice issued by FIA, it has been said that Imran Khan had expressed indifference to Tehreek-e-Insaaf’s Lahore account in the Election Commission, while Imran Khan’s authority letter is attached in the opening form of the account details.
FIA’s November 7 summons notice has been challenged by Imran Khan in the Lahore High Court. Imran Khan has made FIA a party in the petition filed in this regard.
Earlier, the Sindh High Court had also directed the FIA to complete the inquiry on the petitions of former governor Imran Ismail and others in the PTI prohibited funding case.
