Imran Khan to be tried in military court for May 9 attacks: Interior Minister

Islamabad: Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah has said that the case against Imran Khan will be tried in the military court.

Talking to private TV, the interior minister said that Imran Khan had planned and implemented the targeting of military installations.

He said that targeting military installations is a military court case in my opinion.

Rana Sana Lilla said that Imran Khan had already decided everything and instructed the workers and leaders that in case of arrest, they have to surround these places with fire and there is evidence of this. Now justifying that I was in jail is completely wrong.

On the other hand, Prime Minister’s special assistant and PPP leader Qamar Zaman Kaira said that there is no reason to take action against Imran Khan under the Army Act, PTI members in jail can be held to blocker talks.
