Islamabad: Due to security concerns, the Tosha Khana criminal case filed against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan will be heard in the judicial complex in Sector G-11 instead of Islamabad court, where Imran Khan will also appear.
According to Leading News, Imran Khan will appear in the court of Additional Sessions Judge Zafar Iqbal today for the first time after the summons and non-bailable warrants were issued for seven hearings in the Tosha Khana criminal proceedings case. In view of security concerns, the Chief Commissioner approved the transfer of a case to the court under special powers, after which Additional Sessions Judge Zafar Iqbal will hear the case in the judicial complex instead of the F8 court.
Additional Sessions Judge Zafar Iqbal has fixed the date of indictment against Imran Khan today.
Section 144 imposed in Islamabad
On the other hand, due to Imran Khan’s appearance in the court, Section 144 has been implemented in Islamabad, under which the display and carrying of weapons will be prohibited, while it will be mandatory for those who leave the vehicle on the road to have proof of ownership.
