Lahore: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) General Secretary Asad Umar says that Imran Khan will not attend the All Parties Conference.
Speaking to the media outside the Lahore High Court, Asad Umar said that the Election Commission is bound to conduct elections, economic conditions cannot come in the way. Elections in Punjab will be decided by Thursday.
While instructing the workers to prepare for the election, the PTI leader said that it has been cleared to hold the by-elections in 90 days.
Asad Umar further said that we hope that the decision will be in our favor at the next hearing, the Governor and the Election Commission believe that the elections should be held in 90 days but are not ready to give a date.
He said that the Election Commission itself has written that 54 days are required for preparation, the government is deliberately trying to create confusion.
The PTI leader said that Imran Khan will not attend the All Parties Conference, how can he sit with our leaders when false cases are being filed against them.
Earlier, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif decided to bring all the national political leaders to a table on important national challenges and called the All Party Conference (APC) on February 7, in which Imran Khan was also invited.
