ISPR dismissed Imran Khan’s statement regarding army officials

Rawalpindi: The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) of the Pakistan Army termed the statement made by Chairman PTI against the organization and especially against a senior military officer as baseless and irresponsible.

According to the ISPR statement, the Pakistan Army prides itself on being a highly professional and disciplined organization, with a strong and highly effective internal accountability system.

According to ISPR, the organization will protect its officers and soldiers if the honor, safety and dignity of its officials are being tarnished through frivolous allegations by vested interests.

Describing the baseless allegations leveled against the institution/officers by the Public Relations Department of Pakistan Army as very sad, he said that this act is condemnable, no one will be allowed to disrespect the institution or its soldiers.

According to ISPR, keeping this in mind, the government of Pakistan has been requested to investigate the matter. Initiate legal action against those responsible for defamation and false allegations against the institution and its officials without any evidence.
