Islamabad: Federal Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah has said that Imran Khan’s Jail Bharo Movement ended before it started, we were thinking that 500 workers would make arrests, but only a few dozen did.
While giving a press conference in Islamabad, Rana Sanaullah said that the Imrani group has made the country suffer from sedition, the people who brought the sea of people to the capital could not bring even a few thousand people, now the Imrani group has started spreading the sedition of the jail movement done.
He said that the Jail Bharo movement ended before it started, we estimated that 500 people would be arrested but only a few dozen sat in the police cars and the rest left. The people rejected this fitna for the third time.
Rana Sanaullah said that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif would have announced the elections if Imran Khan had not threatened the government. He said that the public should review the inflation after 31st May 2018 and the remaining eight months were due to the problems created by the PTI government.
The interior minister said that the government and allies thank the people of Lahore and Punjab for rejecting this fitna.
He further said that we are ready to go to the elections, but we are of the opinion to hold the elections of the national and provincial assemblies together.
