Renowned filmmaker Jemima Goldsmith found herself at the center of a social media controversy this Tuesday, as a fake post, supposedly authored by her, emerged online. The misleading post declared, “I stand with Israel.” However, Goldsmith promptly cleared the air, revealing the post’s fraudulent nature.
Taking to ‘X,’ formerly known as Twitter, Goldsmith addressed the issue, stating, “I was just sent this by my former sister-in-law with the message ‘Opposition is busy.’ This is a fake post circulating on social media.” Her clarification aimed to put an end to the confusion surrounding her stance on the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.
