JIT changed once again to investigate attack on Imran Khan

Lahore: The Punjab government has once again changed the joint investigation committee to investigate the incident of firing on Imran Khan. The new head of the JIT will be CCPO Lahore Ghulam Mahmood Dogar.

According to Leading News, the Punjab government has also issued a notification to change the Joint Investigation Team (JIT), CCPO Lahore Ghulam Mehmood Dogar has been made the new head of the JIT.

According to the notification, RPO Dera Ghazi Khan Syed Khurram will be a member of the JIT while Ehsanullah Chauhan AIG Monitoring Investigation Branch Punjab has also been nominated as a member.

Apart from the mentioned persons, Malik Tariq Mehmood SP Potohar Rawalpindi and Naseebullah SP CTD will also be members. The committee will investigate the Wazirabad tragedy and prepare a report.

Earlier, a JIT headed by DIG Tariq Rustam Chauhan was formed to investigate the incident.
