K-P govt withdraw Imran’s security

Peshawar: The caretaker government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has recalled the security personnel of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan.

Tehreek-e-Insaf also protested the recall of the former prime minister’s security personnel.

After the attack on Imran Khan, 50 KPK police personnel were deployed for the security of the former prime minister. The Punjab government had sent a letter to the KP government on January 24 to withdraw the security.

PTI Leader Shibli Faraz said that a letter has been received from the Punjab government today in which the security of former minister Imran Khan and the security of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have been withdrawn.

He said that the former prime minister’s security is his right because earlier this police has written a threat letter to Imran Khan, if anything happens to Imran Khan, he will blame it on the interior minister.

On the other hand, in view of the possible arrest of Chairman PTI Imran Khan, a large number of workers were present outside Lahore Zaman Park late at night where thousands of workers raised slogans in favor of Imran Khan.
