Muhammad Kamran Khan Tesori took oath as the 34th Governor of Sindh in a simple and dignified swearing-in ceremony held at the Governor House.
Chief Justice Sindh High Court Justice Ahmed Ali M Shaikh administered the oath of office of Governor Sindh to Muhammad Kamran Khan Tesuri.
Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah Speaker Sindh Assembly Agha Siraj Khan Durrani Provincial Ministers Imtiaz Sheikh Saeed Ghani Principal Secretary Governor Sindh Dr. Syed Saifur Rehman Additional IG Karachi Javed Alam Odhu and other officers also participated in the ceremony.
Member National Assembly Convener MQM Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, former Mayor Karachi Wasim Akhtar, Administrator Karachi Murtaza Wahab, Member Provincial Assembly Khawaja Izharul Hasan, Special Assistant to Chief Minister Waqar Mehdi also participated in the ceremony. Congratulations to Kamran Khan Tesori.
Kamran Tesuri said that he will try hard to fulfill the trust placed on him, take everyone along to fulfill the responsibilities and raise his voice at every relevant forum to solve the problems of the province.
It should be noted that President Dr. Arif Alvi approved the appointment of Muhammad Kamran Khan Tesori as the new governor of Sindh under sub-clause one of Article 101 of the Constitution yesterday.
The post of Governor of Sindh was vacant after the resignation of Imran Ismail and Sindh Assembly Speaker Agha Siraj Khan Durrani was performing the duties of Acting Governor.
