Khuzdar: In a horrific act of terrorism, a school bus carrying innocent children was targeted in Khuzdar, Balochistan pn Wednesday, resulting in the martyrdom of three children and two soldiers, and injuring 53 others—including 39 schoolchildren, of whom eight remain in critical condition.
The attack, allegedly carried out by India-backed proxies operating under the guise of ethnic insurgency, marks another escalation in attempts to destabilize Pakistan through cowardly acts of violence targeting civilians.

Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, along with the Minister of Defence, Minister of Interior, Minister of Information, and Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), visited Quetta to meet with the victims. They were briefed on the tragic incident by the Chief Minister of Balochistan and Commander Quetta Corps.
Expressing deep sorrow and outrage, the Prime Minister and visiting leadership condemned the targeting of innocent children as a shameful and inhumane act of terror. They noted that such groups, manipulated by foreign hands, do not represent the values of the Baloch or Pashtun people, who have consistently rejected extremism and violence.

He further emphasized that the nation must respond to this threat with the same unity and determination shown in the face of past external aggression.
Pakistan’s security forces have vowed to pursue and bring to justice all those responsible for orchestrating and enabling this barbaric attack. Officials also called on the international community to recognize and condemn the use of terrorism as a tool of foreign policy.
The visit concluded with a reaffirmation of Pakistan’s unyielding commitment to defeating terrorism and protecting its people, especially its most vulnerable—its children.
