KP governor calls on PM, acting president

ISLAMABAD: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi called on Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday.

Both the leaders discussed matters related to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the overall political situation in the country.

The governor appreciated the prime minister for his government’s pro-business and investment policies which has led to an enhanced investment in the country, the official news agency reported.

In the meeting, they also discussed issues facing KP and their durable solutions.

Commerce Minister Ahad Khan Cheema and Advisor to PM on Political Affairs Rana Sanaullah also attended the meeting.

Meanwhile, KP Governor Faisal Karim Kundi also called on Acting President Yusuf Raza Gilani on Thursday.

The governor congratulated the acting president on the victory of his son Ali Qasim Gilani in the recently-held election of NA-148 constituency, a President House press release said.

Kundi also expressed good wishes to the acting president as well as his son.
