Explaining the process, Naqvi shared that 48 flares were used for cloud seeding, specifically targeting the Shahdara area. Notably, he mentioned that not a single rupee from Punjab’s funds was used for this achievement, giving credit to the UAE Government for their support.
The rain’s strategic focus within a ten to fifteen-kilometer radius showcased the precision of the experiment, elevating Lahore to the top spot in rainfall rankings. Naqvi proudly stated that the results reflected the success of the artificial rain project.
Remaining vigilant, the caretaker Chief Minister emphasized that monitoring and alertness began early in the morning, underscoring an ongoing commitment to the initiative’s success. This historic event demonstrates Lahore’s stride into a new era of weather control, thanks to innovative collaboration and meticulous planning.
