Leadership approves dissolution of Assemblies, Fawad

Lahore: PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry has said that the leadership has approved the decision to dissolve the Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa assemblies. The parliamentary session of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will be held on Friday and Saturday after which both assemblies will be dissolved. 

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan chaired an important consultative meeting of the party regarding resignation from Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assemblies. Resignation and general elections were discussed in the meeting. In the meeting, it was also decided to protest against the arrest of Azam Swati.

Briefing the media after the meeting, Fawad Chaudhry has said that the PTI leadership has approved the dissolution of the Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa assemblies, our members from Sindh and Balochistan will submit their resignations, the Speaker will submit the resignations of the members to the National Assembly. You will be asked to approve.

The PTI leader said that there will be a parliamentary session of Punjab parliamentary party on Friday and KPK parliamentary session on Saturday after which both the assemblies will be dissolved. KPK Chief Minister met Imran Khan. Punjab will meet.

Fawad Chaudhry said that it does not matter to PTI even if the elections are held after a few months, the demand for immediate elections is due to the damage caused to the country’s economy. We still want general elections to be held in the country, the government should announce general elections and also dissolve the National Assembly. We are sure that the people will give more mandate to PTI than before.

Fawad Chaudhry said that it has been decided that there will be a strong protest against the arrest of Azam Swati. Institutions kept sleeping and no one noticed.
