Legendary actor, Qavi Khan passed away in Canada

Karachi: Legendary actor of radio, theatre, film and TV, Muhammad Qavi Khan has passed away in Canada at 80.

Mohammad Qavi Khan started singing on radio at an early age and showed his acting skills in theatre, TV, film. However, the drama serial ‘Andhira Ajala’ aired on PTV Lahore gave him extraordinary fame in which he played the role of a police inspector.

Qavi Khan had been ill for a long time and was staying in Canada for treatment when he died. Mohammadi Qavi Khan was born in Peshawar in November 1942 and was associated with Radio Pakistan from an early age where he mastered the sound of voice. After that he started working in theater as well as acting on Pakistan Television and soon became one of the leading actors.
